All Aboard!
I have created this "Technology Train Blog" for sharing ideas about technology uses in the classroom. I currently teach third grade, and the kids crave technology use, both during instruction and for individual and group assignments. Please feel free to share any ideas! (I am new to blogging and find it to be an interesting way to share information!)

You are right at the age where they can respond to posted questions and work on their writing skills. Being able to do something "cool" like blog would really motivate a kids that age.
